Kuopio is a Finnish city, and Puijo tower is an important landmark there. It’s 75 metres tall, standing on top of the 150 -metre tall Puijo hill. It was built in 1963 and it was the first Nordic observation tower with a rotating restaurant. It’s a popular sightseeing spot for travelers. There’s a restaurant and during the summer season a cafe. On the entrance level there’s a souvenir shop and there’s also a hotel close nearby.
The photo is taken on November of 2017 and you can see some parts of Kuopio, (Julkula area) and also Kallavesi. The islands on the center are called Peltosaari, Kumpusaari and Reposaari. Kallavesi is the tenth biggest lake of Finland and it’s inseparable from Kuopio.
