Description
The Kvarken Archipelago is the only Finnish natural heritage and it was accepted to the UNESCO world heritage list in 2006. The Kvarken Archipelago together with the High Coast in Sweden form a transboundary World Natural Heritage site.
This photo was taken from Observation Tower Saltkaret on July 2015. The view from the tower is a perfect example of the De Geer areas which were formed during the last ice age.
