Description
Since 2003 volleyball – swamp volleyball – has been played in Rajasuo in Haukivuori, Mikkeli. First competition for the World Championship was held in 2006 and 2007 was a record year with 82 teams. Swamp volleyball has own rules and teams have special playing costumes. Costumes and shoes especially are covered by peat in the end of the day. Very important part of this event is having fun, even though it is a competition.
