Description

Dish draining or drying closet was originally patented in other countries, but a Finnish woman Maiju Gebhard reinvented it in 40’s. Closet makes the dish drying phase unnecessary. The shelves are made of plastic-coated steel wires and cabinets have an open bottom. It allows for the water to drain directly into the sink below. Dish draining closet belongs inseparable to kitchen interior in Finland. It has saved thousands of housewives working hours.

The kitchen shown in the picture has warm retro-colors, which are popular right now. Clean and airy white interiors are popular, too, but these old-fashioned styles are making a comeback with more and more people enjoying bold colors.
